About the role:
This Maternal and Child Health casual reliever role provides the opportunity to fully participate in all areas within the Darebin MCH service. This includes KAS assessments, facilitation of New Parent Groups, deliver the Sleep & Settling model of care, INFANT program and cofacilitation of early years groups. The opportunity to work alongside our experienced Enhanced MCH team and Lactation Consultants. Graduate MCH applicants will receive additional support.
You will require:
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Child Family and Community Health-Maternal Child Health Nursing.
- CPR and First Aid Level 1 and ability to kneel to provided adult CPR if required
- Current Victorian driver’s licence and vehicle
- Current Working with Children’s Card
About you:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues.
- Can work collaboratively with other services as required.
- Professional note taking and documentation standards.
- Can work independently and autonomously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and current MCH software program CDIS. Will need to undertake MACHA training.
- Availability to work for a minimum of 2 days per week
