As the Distribution Centre Coordinator (Inventory), you will play a vital role in supporting the Adelaide Distribution Centre by ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient procurement processes, and reliable supply chain operations.
This position is responsible for coordinating inventory management, purchasing activities, stock replenishment, supplier relationships, and logistics processes to ensure the timely flow of goods to remote community stores. You will work closely with warehouse teams, suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders to maintain stock integrity, optimise inventory levels, and support food security across the communities we serve.

What You Will Do
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and timely variance resolution.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded within Outback Stores' ERP systems.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged stock, and inventory variances.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities and monitor delivery schedules.
- Work closely with suppliers, freight providers, warehouse teams, and merchandise stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor supply chain and logistics KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility (COR), and company policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or warehouse operations.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or inventory management.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capability, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience managing purchase orders, supplier performance, and inventory replenishment processes.
- Sound understanding of freight coordination and logistics operations.
- Current Forklift Licence (desirable).
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working With Children Check.
- Experience supporting remote operations or regional supply chains highly regarded.
- Understanding of logistics requirements for servicing remote communities.
- High cultural awareness and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities (highly regarded).
