Join FinXL's infrastructure services practice as an L1/L2 Desktop Support Engineer for an exciting engagement embedded with a leading managed service client! Based onsite in Newstead, you will play a critical role in keeping local operations running smoothly while driving key technology transformation initiatives and assisting with IT project delivery.
While this is a hands-on technical support position, we are seeking an engineer who goes beyond standard troubleshooting. You will manage end-to-end workstation lifecycles, maintain network environments, and act as a bridge between daily support and structured project delivery. You'll be contributing heavily to the efficiency and uplift of local office infrastructure.
Proven L1/L2 Desktop Support: Strong hands-on experience in corporate desktop support and troubleshooting.
Microsoft Ecosystem: Solid background working in predominantly Microsoft-driven environments.
Salesforce & Project Delivery: Practical experience navigating the Salesforce platform alongside a knack for project management to keep IT deliverables on track.
Operating Systems & Software: Microsoft enterprise suite and the Salesforce platform.
Hardware & Deployment: Workstation staging, imaging, deployment, and configuration.
Networking: Physical Aruba network environments, hardware troubleshooting, and network patch issues.
You have exceptional communication skills that allow you to support internal staff efficiently and translate technical issues clearly.
You thrive in a dynamic environment and can seamlessly pivot between day-to-day user support and structured project tasks.
Bonus: Prior experience working within a managed service provider (MSP) framework or a corporate consulting model is highly desirable!
