About the Role
As the Manager, Residential Care, you’ll lead the daily operations of BaptistCare Gracewood, Salter Point, ensuring residents receive exceptional, person‑centred care that supports dignity, choice and wellbeing. You’ll guide a multidisciplinary team, oversee clinical and operational excellence, and build strong relationships with residents, families and staff.

You will:
- Lead local implementation of strategic and operational initiatives
- Manage change, workforce planning and performance across the facility
- Oversee safe, high‑quality care that meets residents’ physical, social, emotional, spiritual and clinical needs
- Ensure compliance with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, AN‑ACC and WHS requirements
- Manage occupancy, funding and budget targets
- Respond to enquiries, manage waitlists and support prospective residents
- Drive continuous improvement and customer‑focused service delivery
- Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, staff and external partners

As the senior leader on site, you’ll guide a multidisciplinary workforce that supports 110 residents, including those in the dedicated memory support unit.

You will also bring:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- Extensive experience managing complex aged care services
- Strong knowledge of the new aged care legislation (Aged Care Act 2024) regulatory compliance and the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in continuous improvement, risk management and AN‑ACC
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong HR capability and contemporary leadership skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial acumen and proficiency across IT systems
