Salary:
$75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
About the role:
Pirtek Botany is seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to join our Service and Supply Centre based in Botany, NSW. This is a full-time role servicing customers across Sydney, including major infrastructure and construction project sites.
The successful applicant will be responsible for on-site service, installation, maintenance and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies and fittings.
A fully equipped service vehicle, mobile phone, and iPad are provided.
Key duties:
- Assembly, installation, removal and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings
- Mobile servicing of customer sites across Sydney and surrounding areas
- Fault diagnosis and repair of hydraulic systems
- Use of hand tools, machinery and measuring equipment
- Compliance with WHS policies and safe work practices
- Accurate job reporting and customer communication
Skills, qualifications and experience:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Trade qualification and/or demonstrated experience in hydraulics, mechanical fitting, or similar technical field
- Ability to operate tools, machinery and measuring devices accurately
- Strong understanding of WHS and safe work practices
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Australian manual driver’s licence
