Role
TLC Aged Care have opportunities for confident, reliable and passionate Aged Care Workers to join our team and provide in-home care services to seniors located in Bankstown. This role operates in our remote Community Home Care workforce team. Our Care Support staff provide a range of basic to complex support services to elderly clients wishing to stay at home and avoid premature or inappropriate long-term residential care.
Key Accountabilities

Providing the very best in-home care and support to Seniors in line with their personalized care plans

Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and grooming
-
Undertake domestic duties which includes light housework, laundry assistance and meal preparation

Assistance with activities of daily living & support duties such as shopping & transport
-
Social Support & Home Respite
-
Maintenance of appropriate documentation as required
Essential Criteria
-
All languages are welcome
-
Willingness to travel to Bankstown
-
Understanding of the needs of vulnerable seniors from diverse backgrounds
-
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
-
Driver’s license and a reliable registered and fully insured vehicle to transport clients

Access and ability to use Smart Phone & Internet

Minimum availability 24 hours per week between Monday – Friday

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends

Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one

Australian National Police check

Working with Children Check

Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with a broad audience

Ability to work autonomously supporting seniors living within their own homes

COVID 19 Vaccination & Booster certificate
