We are currently seeking Casual Supervised Visit Workers to join our growing team in the Lithgow area. This role primarily involves weekend work, with the opportunity for additional weekday shifts as our services expand.
As a Supervised Visit Worker, you will be responsible for supervising visits between children and family members, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all involved while providing accurate, objective documentation following each visit.

Your Role Will Include
- Supervising family visits in a safe, neutral and child-focused environment.
- Monitoring interactions and intervening where required to maintain safety.
- Building positive rapport while remaining professional and impartial.
- Completing clear, factual and objective reports following each visit.
- Transporting children to and from visits where required.
- Communicating professionally with families, case managers and other stakeholders.
- Following organisational policies, procedures and child-safe practices at all times.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Individual Support, Youth Work, Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or similar), or be currently working towards a relevant qualification.
- Experience working with children, families, disability, youth services or community services (highly regarded).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to write objective, accurate reports.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to remain calm, professional and impartial in challenging situations.
- A smartphone.
- Good computer skills.
- A current First Aid Certificate (issued within the last 3 years).
- Current CPR Certificate (issued within the last 12 months).
- A current FULL NSW Driver Licence.
- Willingness to travel to different locations.
- A reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance (preferred).
- A valid National Police Check.
- A current Working with Children Check (NSW).
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred or willing to obtain).
- Two contactable professional references.
- Full working rights in Australia.
