Aussie Life Care is seeking a reliable and experienced Male Disability Support Worker to join our team at our SIL home in Lalor.
About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to male participants, assisting with daily living activities and promoting their independence, wellbeing and community participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support
- Assist participants with daily living and household activities
- Support participants with complex needs and behaviours
- Promote independence, dignity and choice
- Follow individual support plans and workplace procedures
- Maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment
- Complete required documentation and shift handovers
Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months' experience in disability or aged care
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs
Shifts Available:
Sleepover: 6:00 PM – 10:00 AM
