POSITION: Adelaide Fringe Schools Program Coordinator
LOCATION: Adelaide Fringe Head Office
REPORTS TO: Schools Program Lead
EMPLOYMENT:Full time (Fixed Term, FTE 38 Hours), 4 January 2027 to 2 April 2027
POSITION SUMMARY
The Schools Program Coordinator supports the delivery of the Adelaide Fringe Schools Program, working closely with the Schools Program Lead, who trains and oversees the role, and alongside the Ticketing Manager, Assistant Ticketing Manager and the wider ticketing team.
The main objectives of the role are to handle the day-to-day schools ticketing, bookings and administration of the Schools Program. That covers negotiating and facilitating bookings for teachers, building schools-only performances in AVR and Red61, invoicing schools through to payment, and keeping records accurate. Strategic growth, outreach and resource development sit with the Schools Program Lead.
The contract runs from 4 January 2027 to 2 April 2027. It begins as school bookings ramp back up for the year, which allows time for training and handover before the season, and continues for a fortnight after the festival to complete the statistics and case study work that informs future planning and funding for the program.
The role is in regular contact with teachers and schools, and is expected to attend schools performances, incursions and schools related events to support delivery on the ground. Some of these fall outside normal business hours, and during the delivery period of Adelaide Fringe, from 19 February to 21 March 2027, some work outside of normal business hours will be required.
