About the role
The Radiographer/Sonographer or Sonographer - Senior provides a senior level of ultrasound imaging services as part of the multidisciplinary Medical Imaging team at Redcliffe Hospital and Brighton Health Campus. The role delivers high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across a broad range of examinations, including general, emergency, paediatric, gynaecology, vascular and obstetric imaging, while supporting safe and patient-focused care.
The successful candidate will provide expert clinical guidance, contribute to education and supervision of students and less experienced staff, and participate in quality improvement and service development initiatives. The role also involves participation in after-hours, weekend, public holiday and on-call services to support the delivery of a comprehensive medical imaging service.
