Why this role matters:
We’re looking for an Infrastructure Lead to play a key role in shaping and supporting our modern hybrid infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you can have a direct impact and be part of leading the modernization of infrastructure across our multiple aged care homes.
We are at the forefront in terms of implementing leading technologies and infra structure in the aged care industry. As a company we are in rapid growth phase opening more aged care homes and adding to our head office team. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure & Cloud Manager, Service Desk and PMO teams, you’ll lead the design, implementation and optimisation of network environments, ensuring they are secure, scalable and high performing.
This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll also act as a trusted technical advisor and Level 3 escalation point, helping guide both technical teams and business stakeholders through complex challenges.
Projects may span state and interstate locations. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to determine the most effective delivery approach, including leveraging onsite technical teams where appropriate, with many activities able to be undertaken remotely.
What you will be doing:

Act as the technical subject matter for cloud and network infrastructure

Manage and enhance existing Azure, Entra ID and AD environments

Plan & execute end to end cloud and network migrations, including Microsoft 365 and migrations of server workloads from on-premise and external cloud platforms into Azure/AWS

Manage and optimise hybrid infrastructure

Provide Level 3 support for complex incidents, outages and high-risk events

Mentor junior engineers’ level 1 & 2

Deliver enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN, firewalls, Wi-Fi)

Collaborate across teams and vendors, communicating technical concepts clearly
What you will bring:

Extensive experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles

Hands on experience working with cloud networking (Azure)

Experience with enterprise networking technologies

Hands-on experience with Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot
-
Ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects including planning and execution

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
-
Valid right to Work in Australia
-
Valid driver’s licence
-
Current National Police check/ NDIS check (or willingness to obtain)
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in IT or Computer Science credentials
Ideally certification across: Fortinet (NSE 4-7), Microsoft Azure and Entra , Windows Server/ Active Directory.
