About Us
There are two exciting opportunities to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. The roles are in the Supervision (Self) & Supervision (TMF) teams who hold licensed insurers to account to their obligations in the NSW Workers Compensation scheme. Understand more about SIRA – here
Key Responsibilities

Implement transparent, consistent, and measurable performance expectations for regulated entities to drive statutory compliance, promote sound practices, and achieve optimal outcomes.

Provide expert guidance and support to build capability and influence regulated entities, helping them meet scheme objectives and deliver better outcomes for customers.
- Analyse data and coordinate analytic strategies to detect emerging risks, trends, and instances of non-compliance, informing proactive decision-making.

Oversee the performance and compliance of regulated entities, identifying opportunities for service improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
- Implement targeted remediation activities to address risks and issues, ensuring compliance and alignment with scheme objectives

Develop and execute effective regulatory strategies that support scheme goals and reinforce public confidence in the regulator’s role.
About You
-
Strong workers compensation or personal injury experience, preferably in a regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, stakeholder engagement capability, legislative interpretation skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships.

Hold appropriate working rights for the type of employment offered - Fixed Term roles require valid work rights for the full duration of the role
Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $116981 base plus superannuation
