As a Wall & Floor Tiler / Tile & Grout Service Technician you will be responsible for performing full tiling services, primarily in bathrooms, such as full and partial shower rebuilds, balcony rebuilds, other maintenance tiling repairs, regrouting, silicone replacement, etc. You will also be required to perform Restoration Services as detailed below which we will train you in.
As a Tile & Grout Service Technician after undertaking our training program, you will perform Restoration Services such as minor tiling repairs, regrouting, silicone replacement, stripping and sealing, tile cleaning and restoration, detail cleaning, and other services as required.
These are semi-independent roles, supported by GroutPro Head Office where:
If you're employed directly by us, you will be supplied with a van, tools, equipment, products, training and whatever overtime is needed to get the job done.
If you're taken on as a sub-contractor, we will negotiate a rate of pay based on what you bring with you such as vehicle, fuel, tools, equipment, etc.
These roles require someone who believes in delivering high quality outcomes and providing first class customer service on every job. Quality of workmanship will be assessed and monitored throughout your engagement with us.
Our specialist GroutPro training, in tile and grout restoration and associated services, performed in both residential and commercial properties throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast, will be provided as required.
To be considered for these roles you will need:
For tiling roles: Tiling qualifications, skills and experience.
For restoration roles: experience in caulking, grouting, stripping & sealing, tile cleaning or restoration, detail cleaning, or other building related skills.
Drivers License
Excellent communication skills and personality
Be well presented as you will be customer facing
A proven track record in delivering top quality work.
An ability to learn new systems and procedures and to work within those guidelines.
To undergo a National Crime Check to verify your right to work with and around children and vulnerable people.
You will be working in both residential and commercial properties, so an inherent respect for the property of others is absolutely essential.
This role will mainly be servicing our clients in Brisbane, Gold Coast and surrounding areas - ideal for someone living in that region.
Overtime is also available, paid at normal overtime rates or sub-contract rates as agreed.
