The Manager, Retail Investment will manage reporting and valuation process for Mirvac's investments in Retail via Mirvac Property Trust.
What you'll be doing:
Valuation:
- Overall ownership and recommendation of 6 monthly portfolio valuations, including Committee representation, approval paper contribution and presentation to the Mirvac Board

Managing the internal and external valuation process including rotation and panel management

Develop and recommend high level assumptions including forecast lease profiles, growth rates and any significant valuation variations to the P&L models

Governance of market rents through benchmarking and analytical tools

Review valuation inputs across the portfolio for reasonableness and consistence
Portfolio Reporting
- Manage quarterly portfolio analysis for external market reporting, including strategic insights for performance assessment

Frame key messaging for reporting materials including presentation, ASX announcement and reports
-
Management of investor Q&A analysis and insights for market reporting including identifying likely key focus areas based on results
-
Critical evaluation and presentation of peer AREIT results

Responsible for portfolio analysis and reporting including Blackbook, Quarterly and Full Yearly Reports, Property Compendium
Capital Allocation & Investment Analysis
- Manage and regularly update capital allocation tools to inform portfolio construction decision making, including making recommendations for sell and watch list

Manage framework for capital budgeting including revenue-generating and strategic capex. Oversee portfolio leasing analysis where required for assessment and approval

Assist National Manager, Retail Development, manage development feasibilities, assessing prospective developments for risk, accuracy and strategic alignment where required

Assist in assessment of potential acquisitions and disposals where required
-
Work with capital allocation team to incorporate group targets, ensuring alignment within Retail business planning

Assist in the development of the Retail strategy and business plans and prepare Board reporting papers when required

Key contributor to critically reviewing Mirvac Research House Views

Adhoc projects as required
What you'll bring:
- Demonstrated finance and/or analytical experience at a medium to large real estate organisation with exposure to retail sector being highly desirable
- Retail property experience highly desirable

API Valuations Registration is desirable

Team management experience preferred but not essential

Demonstrated financial modelling and valuations experience

Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Economics, Business or Commerce is highly desirable
