About the role:
Step into a key leadership role in our LR Sauce Room. As Team Leader, you'll supervise the day-to-day operations of your area, creating a team environment that delivers production excellence, superior quality outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction, while keeping safety and staff engagement front and centre.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 1pm – 9:06pm
What you'll be doing:
- Lead by example on safety, ensuring hazards are identified, escalated, and controlled, with GMP and food safety standards upheld in line with HACCP compliance
- Coordinate training and onboarding, ensuring programs are in place and followed for new and existing team members
- Own manufacturing goals for your area, including equipment upkeep, downtime reporting, and waste reduction
- Roster and manage staffing levels, participating in performance management and addressing issues as they arise
- Drive our How We Work Together Commitments, building a culture of respect, trust, and open communication across the team
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced manufacturing or food production environment
- A strong safety mindset, with the ability to identify risks early and lead by example on best practice
- Solid understanding of GMP and food safety standards, with HACCP compliance experience highly regarded
- A natural coach and mentor, confident training and developing team members to build capability
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage rostering, performance, and day-to-day issues as they arise
