The BehavioUr Management Program (BUMP) is an innovative multidisciplinary service focused on supporting patients with complex behavioural needs and enhancing patient and staff safety through person centred care.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Occupational Therapist within BUMP, you will provide advanced Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and clinical leadership to patients presenting with complex behavioural challenges. You will work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies that support safe, person-centred care.
- Deliver high quality, evidence based Occupational Therapy services and interventions
- Coordinate behaviour management planning with multidisciplinary team members
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and professional leadership
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service evaluation activities
- Support safe care delivery through risk management, reporting and patient centred practice

Essential Criteria
Selection Criteria
Experience in management of patients with challenging behaviours in an inpatient setting.
Ability to work both independently with minimum direct clinical supervision and as a member of a multidisciplinary team including demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills.
Current Drivers license.
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Commitment to and experience in Quality Improvement
