Your New Role
As the Head of Transformation & Performance, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of Sacred Heart Mission's Strategy 2030 and growth agenda. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the CEO, Executive Team and Strategic Adviser, you will lead organisation-wide efforts to strengthen strategic alignment, organisational performance, governance, risk management, data and insights, and continuous improvement.
You will lead the Transformation & Performance function, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, evidence-based decision making and accountability across the organisation. Working in partnership with leaders, you will drive initiatives that enhance both day-to-day operational performance and the successful delivery of strategic projects, ensuring SHM has the frameworks, capabilities and insights required to achieve its ambitious growth objectives.
A key focus of the role will be leading the project delivery for Strategy 2030, providing oversight of strategic initiatives from concept through to delivery. This includes coordinating cross-organisational projects, engaging external expertise, supporting investment and funding decisions, managing risks and opportunities, and delivering high-quality reporting to the Board and Committees. Through strong governance and disciplined execution, you will help ensure strategic initiatives deliver meaningful outcomes for the people and communities we serve.
Your Day-To-Day
Working collaboratively across SHM, the Head of Transformation & Performance will:
- Partner with the CEO, Executive Team and organisational leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, measurable outcomes and sustainable organisational performance.
- Drive organisation-wide transformation, continuous improvement and innovation initiatives that strengthen service delivery, improve ways of working and enable SHM’s growth agenda.
- Build SHM's performance, reporting and insights capability by embedding robust planning, measurement and data-driven decision-making frameworks that support accountability and demonstrate impact.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Transformation & Performance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, evidence-based thinking, innovation and high performance.
- Strengthen governance, risk and compliance across the organisation through contemporary frameworks, clear reporting, and effective engagement with the Executive Team, Board and Committees.

Essentials for Success
- Relevant qualifications in business, management, strategic transformation, or related field.
- Highly experienced in leading and facilitating transformation, business planning, operational reviews, and data/insights across a complex and dynamic social services environment.
- Advanced understanding of compliance/regulatory settings relevant to SHM including aged care, NDIS and social services.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and people from all levels across the organisation.
- Experienced and accomplished strategic and business leader, with a proven track record of strategy development and execution, managing the pursuit and delivery of value creation opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Excellent IT skills and is an early adopter of new technology and ways of working.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Knowledge of transformation methodologies and frameworks.
- Track record of influencing a future-focused culture that embraces change and innovation.
