Description:
The Finance Officer (General) reports to the Finance Manager and will perform their duties, in close collaboration with the Finance team and operations team members, to provide sound administrative support to the accounting and financial administrative duties to the organisation. The Finance Officer (General) will bring strong administrative accounting, financial and analytical abilities, complemented by well-developed work ethic, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. The role of the Finance Officer (General) is to process Argyle Housing’s day to day business transactions accurately, completely and on a timely basis ensuring compliance with regulatory and other reporting requirements, including:
Provision of general administrative support and assistance to members of the Finance Team
Provide support for those Team members that are absent, sharing the absent Team members’ responsibilities with the remainder of the team to ensure that tasks normally undertaken by the absent team member are completed accurately before the absent team member returns to work.

Skills and Experiences:
Solid experience in a finance officer or equivalent role
Strong track record of accuracy in finance or equivalent role
Experience with data entry in finance officer or equivalent role
Experience with financial systems at finance officer level or equivalent
Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite packages
Experience with MYOB
Current drivers licence
