Warehouse Pick Packer - Wacol Distribution Centre (QLD)

THE ROLE
We're looking for motivated and reliable Pick Packers to join our team at our Wacol Distribution Centre. This is a hands-on role where you'll play an important part in ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched safely and efficiently to our stores and customers across Australia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Accurately pick customer and store orders using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
- Pack products securely to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring stock is handled with care.
- Receive inbound deliveries and check stock against delivery documentation.
- Replenish stock locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring all freight is correctly labelled and staged.
- Safely move furniture and bulky items throughout the warehouse using manual handling techniques and approved equipment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure orders are complete and damage-free.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily productivity and service targets.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Previous warehouse, pick packing or distribution centre experience is highly regarded.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Experience using RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift and move large furniture items throughout your shift.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety and following safe work practices.
- A current Forklift (LF) licence is highly regarded but not essential.
