Capricorn is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most dynamic Member-owned organisations. Since 1974, we’ve provided our Members with financial and business solutions to make running a business easier. Our flagship Trade Account offers instant credit with over 1600 Preferred Suppliers, simplified monthly expenses, and a generous rewards program.
We have a strong foundation in the automotive and machinery aftermarkets. Our vibrant community includes over 31,000 Members across Australia and New Zealand, from national franchises to your local family workshop. Last year, Capricorn facilitated nearly $4bn in sales with our Preferred Suppliers.

Shares Registry Officer (12-month Fixed Term)
As a Shares Registry Officer, you’ll play an important role in supporting our members and field teams by managing share transactions and enquiries end-to-end. From issuing shares to handling transfers, buybacks, and dividends, your work will help ensure everything runs smoothly, accurately, and on time.
You’ll also be part of a supportive team focused on continuous improvement, with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute ideas that make a difference.
What you’ll do
- Manage share-related cases in Epicor, following clear processes and guidelines.
- Support a variety of share activities including new issues, buybacks, transfers, and member updates.
- Prepare and manage documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Assist with payments for share refunds and related communications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shareholder records.
- Support dividend processing, reporting, and shareholder portal activity.
- Provide friendly, helpful support to members and internal teams.
- Work towards resolving enquiries at the first point of contact.
- Promote the use of the Shareholder Portal.
- Apply policies and processes to ensure compliance in everything you do.
What you’ll bring
- A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on getting things right.
Experience
- Up to two years’ experience in administration, operations, or a similar role.
- Experience working in a structured environment where accuracy and service matter.
- A willingness to learn and take ownership of your work.
Qualifications
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
