About this role
Join our Community Support Worker casual pool and provide quality care and support to clients in their homes and the community.
You'll assist with personal care, hygiene, nutrition, dressing, mobilisation and social support in line with individual care plans and your training. You'll work closely with clients, carers, nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to support changing needs.
Work locations may be across the Mid North region, with a particular need for Community Support Workers in Port Pirie.
Essential criteria
You will have a Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or a relevant equivalent, with experience providing direct care to aged, frail or disabled people. You'll be confident working as part of a team, communicating with people from diverse backgrounds and working flexibly across different settings and rostering arrangements.
You will also have sound administration and Microsoft Office skills, effective written, verbal and numeracy skills, and the ability to work under general direction, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and use discretion in your work.
