We are seeking an Arts & Personal Enrichment Educator who will develop and deliver creative programs that inspire learners of all ages. In this role, you will blend the fundamentals of dance, choreography, and creative expression to nurture students’ artistic skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Organize Arts-Based Programs: Design and schedule group and individual lessons, ensuring they align with each student’s abilities and developmental goals.
- Prepare and Present Creative Materials: Introduce engaging content on dance theory, artistic expression, and personal enrichment, encouraging students to explore new ideas.
- Facilitate Fundamental Dance Techniques: Demonstrate essential movements, choreographic methods, and improvisation practices, guiding learners to refine their technique and performance skills.
- Assign and Adapt Exercises: Customize practical activities based on each student’s strengths, challenges, and creative interests, helping them build confidence and progress.
- Evaluate Progress and Provide Feedback: Observe student performance, offering constructive critique, motivation, and targeted support to foster continuous improvement.
- Refine Curricula and Teaching Strategies: Keep lesson plans fresh by incorporating emerging trends, diverse cultural elements, and evidence-based teaching methods.
- Prepare Students for Showcases: Coach learners for assessments, performances, and personal showcases, developing their stage presence and collaborative abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated background in dance, arts education, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire learners of various ages and skill levels.
- 2 years experience planning, organizing, and leading creative programs or workshops.
- A genuine passion for the arts and personal development, with a commitment to nurturing each student’s creative potential.
