About us:
Drayton State School is one of Queensland's oldest continuously operating schools, proudly celebrating 175 years of education in 2026.
Established in 1851 with just 24 students, our school has grown to approximately 180 students from Prep to Year 6. While our facilities have evolved, our strong connection to the local community, rich heritage and values of care, responsibility, teamwork and achievement remain at the heart of school life.
We are proud of our history and the generations of students who have helped shape Drayton State School into the welcoming community it is today.
