Skills and Experience needed:
- You are a strong IT specialist
- You have technology and communications experience including law related to privacy and data security as they relate to technology and/or telecommunications matters, technology contracts, general contract law issues and intellectual property
- You have experience with large technology contracts, procurement and tenders, including drafting and negotiation
- You have the ability to manage negotiations with multiple vendors for large IT/technology outsourcing projects
- You have experience with SaaS, infrastructure agreements and cloud based work
- You are commercially focussed and able to make judgement calls and recommendations
- You have a minimum of 6 years' experience
- You have the ability to hit the ground running, work autonomously and prioritise
As well as excellent legal experience you will need:
- The right to live and work in Australia (and be based here) and hold or be able to obtain a current practising certificate
- Willingness to engage with Ashurst via an Incorporated Legal Practice or casual employment
