About the Role
We are seeking a
Graduate Sonographer to join our
Brisbane South team on a permanent full-time basis (open to part-time applicants as well!)
Please note, this is not a training program, we are seeking interest from applicants who will qualify in 2026 and be ready to commence independent practice in 2027.
This opportunity is ideal for a soon-to-be (or recently) qualified Sonographer who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care across a broad range of examinations. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will perform a wide range of ultrasound studies while contributing to outstanding patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
Whilst not required to attend all sites, candidates must be willing to travel between clinics within the region including Victoria Point, Cleveland, Wynnum, Carindale, Annerley, Mater, Meadowbrook, Goodna, Karalee and Kenmore.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including general, small parts, musculoskeletal, obstetric, and vascular studies
- Delivering compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining comfort, dignity, and confidentiality
- Ensuring high standards of image quality, diagnostic accuracy, and ultrasound safety
- Managing workflow efficiently while working both independently and collaboratively
- Working closely with radiologists, referrers, and the wider clinical team
- Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence

Is This Role Right for You?

- Completion (or expected completion) of a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound, ASAR membership
- Strong understanding of ultrasound safety, protocols, and best practice
- Excellent attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Reliability, adaptability, and flexibility to work across clinic locations as required
