Care Services Manager
The opportunity
As the Care Services Manager, you will lead the clinical and care management functions across Warrigal Home Services. Bringing strong leadership capability, a passion for person-centred care, and a commitment to clinical excellence, you will ensure services are safe, effective, and aligned with best practice and regulatory standards.
Reporting to the General Manager of Home Services, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across care management and clinical services.
You will oversee multidisciplinary teams including Care Managers (clinical and non-clinical), nursing, allied health, day programs, and emerging virtual care services. Your focus will be on delivering consistent, high-quality care through robust assessment processes, effective care planning, strong clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.
Working in close partnership with the Operations Manager – Home Services, you will align clinical decision-making with service delivery, workforce capability, and client demand—supporting both exceptional client outcomes and sustainable service growth.
Through your leadership, you will make a meaningful impact on clients, families, and communities, enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians and supporting them to live safely and independently at home.
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in health (Bachelor of Nursing, Allied Health or equivalent) with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) where applicable
- Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership or case management within aged care, home care or community services
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including nursing, allied health professionals and care managers
- Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality and risk management frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to interpret client and operational data to improve service outcomes
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in aged care, gerontology or health management
- Experience working within the home or community services sector
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Support at Home reform changes
- Experience in virtual care models or digitally enabled health services
