The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is driven and looking for a pathway into the Sales field. Working in a high-volume environment amongst an experienced team, you will work closely to support the Director of Sales – MICE and the sales team. As a key team member, you will be responsible for and coordinate the administrative duties in the team and provided the opportunity to learn and develop your skills along the way.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team
Communicating site inspections and entertainment to relevant operational departments and preparing sales kits and keys
Prepare proposals and contracts as per Hotel quoting and contract standards. Including updating Envision, preparing paperwork including files for handover, merging and creating e-proposals, and updating leads systems.
Coordinating VIP reservations, amenities and welcome letters
Responding to telephone inquiries and directing calls to the relevant Sales team members
Be involved in site inspections, famils planning/execution of events for the Sales Force and Clients
Coordinate and organise the Sales inbox, allocating emails to the relevant Sales team member
Performing daily checks of site inspection show rooms to ensure they meet Hotel

Prior experience in the hotel industry
Experience using Opera PMS is desired
Excellent organisational and time management skills
