Your impact
As a Supervisor, Production at Newmont Boddington Gold, you will play a central role in ensuring the seamless integration of mine planning with daily operational activities across one of Australia’s largest open pit gold mines. Reporting to the Superintendent Load & Haul, you will help drive safe, efficient and consistent production outcomes that support the long‑term success of the operation.
This role provides strong exposure across the production cycle, offering the opportunity to influence operational performance, collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
As part of our team you will

Administer daily production planning to ensure alignment with operational priorities

Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards

Collect, analyse and report production data to identify inefficiencies and support decision‑making

Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and support production continuity

Monitor and report KPIs to the leadership team and workforce

Provide technical guidance to support process optimisation initiatives

Assist in resolving production bottlenecks and operational challenges

Prerequisites for your success in the role
Knowledge & Experience
-
Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor or working to obtain it
-
Quarry Manager ticket highly desirable
-
2+ Years Supervisory experience within large scale open pit operations

Experience in production engineering, mine planning or operational support

Understanding of open pit mining processes and production workflows

Ability to interpret production data and identify improvement opportunities
Technical Capability

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to follow structured procedures and improve work methods through experience

Competence in production reporting, data management and KPI tracking

Understanding of safety, environmental and operational compliance requirements
