About the role
Deliver advanced Occupational Therapy services as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team based at the Kallangur Satellite Health Centre. This role supports older adults with complex health needs through the provision of high-level rehabilitation services designed to improve functional capacity, independence, wellbeing, and quality of life within community and ambulatory care settings.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment, intervention, rehabilitation, and care planning services for older people. The role also involves providing clinical leadership, supervision, service development, and quality improvement activities that contribute to the ongoing enhancement of rehabilitation services across Community and Oral Health.

Deliver high-level Occupational Therapy rehabilitation services across complex community and ambulatory caseloads
Apply advanced clinical judgement and provide expert advice on service delivery, equipment, technology, and clinical practice
Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive rehabilitation outcomes
Provide professional leadership, clinical supervision, mentoring, and education to staff and students
Lead and contribute to clinical governance, service improvement, and quality initiatives that enhance patient care
