A Cloud Support Engineer provides technical support for cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and applications. The role involves troubleshooting cloud environments, resolving customer issues, monitoring system performance, and working with engineering teams to ensure secure, reliable, and highly available cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for cloud platforms and services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, storage, and application issues.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure system availability and performance.
- Investigate and resolve customer support tickets within service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist with cloud deployments, migrations, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Support cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance initiatives.
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripts and cloud management tools.
- Assist customers with best practices for cloud usage and optimization.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and platform updates.
