We are a manufacturing air conditioning & ventilation sheet metal ductwork factory. Fabricating galvanized sheet metal ductwork, located in Taren Point , NSW.
We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 40 hours per week
What you will need to succeed
· At least 3 years of relevant work experience
· Ability to use all sheet metal fabricating machines
· ductwork experience
· You will be required to use folders, guillotines, and roll forming machines to fabricate ductwork ready for the installers on site
· Install assemblies, such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ducts, furnace casings, rain gutters, and down spouts, in supportive frameworks.
· Select gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to product specifications
· Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds in order to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
· Be able to Tig Weld and use pressbrake.
· Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools and portable power tools.
· Maintain equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary.
· Shape metal material over anvils, blocks, or other forms, using hand tools.
· Coordinate the production of jobs within the fabrication line.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
