We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time Waste Management Truck Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced driver seeking flexible work while contributing to keeping our community clean and environmentally responsible.
About the Role
As a Waste Management Truck Driver, you will safely operate collection vehicles, complete scheduled waste and recycling collections, and provide professional service to our customers. Part-time hours may include early morning starts and occasional weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate waste collection vehicles on designated routes.
- Collect and transport general waste, recycling, and green waste.
- Complete daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate records and report vehicle or equipment issues.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
About You
- Current Heavy Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence or higher.
- Safe driving record and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Previous waste management or truck driving experience is preferred but not essential.
