As the Clinical School Coordinator, you will spearhead the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine programme at the Austin Clinical School. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the seamless operation of academic and clinical teaching activities while building strong relationships across the Melbourne Medical School and affiliated health services. This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on medical education and student success.
What you will deliver:
- Lead and Coordinate Clinical School Operations: Oversee administrative tasks, manage resources, and ensure effectively delivery of the MD program.
- Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with academic, clinical and professional colleagues across multiple institutions.
- Manage Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to university policies, health service requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Drive Financial and Administrative Efficiency: Oversee financial processes, contracts, and appointments within the Clinical School.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience in complex organisations.
- Demonstrate experience in multi-site, service-oriented environments, ideally within health or higher education settings.
- Apply strong analytical problem-solving skills to improve processes, operations and clinical education delivery.
- Bring proven capability in managing human, financial and infrastructure resources in line with policy.
- Offer demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills across academic, clinical and professional groups.
- Provide experience supervising and directing staff, fostering high performance and effective teamwork.
