Prep Chef Needed - Day Shifts

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Completing daily food preparation tasks efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring consistent quality across all menu items;
- Demonstrating exceptional knife skills and safely operating kitchen equipment, including meat and vegetable slicers;
- Assisting with the busy lunch service, seamlessly transitioning between preparation and service roles as needed;
- Assist with putting away deliveries, stock rotation, stocktake and the dating of our products;
- Ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures are followed;
- Ensuring correct processes are followed even when procedures are updated to reflect changes in regulations;
- Contribute to full compliance processes including regular temperature checks and the cleaning of all back-of-house spaces;
- Contribute to the consistent quality of our great menu.
Key Ingredients:
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience working in a similar prep or chef role;
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency with commercial slicers;You care about the quality of your work and the work of your team;
- You're passionate about working in a team in a fast-paced environment;
- You're a constructive, positive, and considerate communicator;
- You have a love of food and exceptional customer service;
- Available to work daytime shifts (typically 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM).
