For over 60 years, Flottweg has been a global leader in high-performance separation technology (decanter centrifuges, separators, belt presses), with our global headquarters located in Vilsbiburg, Germany. Since 2010, our Australian team in Artarmon has been growing steadily, and we are now looking for a motivated individual to join our stable and professional team.
Role Overview
This dual-function role (Admin 50% & Finance 50%) supports our daily operations and ensures financial accuracy. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain a seamless office environment.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Office Administration:
- Be the face of Flottweg: Manage phone calls, company emails, and welcome visitors.
- Operations Support: Coordinate couriers, order office supplies, and manage company assets (including fleet & maintenance).
- Event Planning: Organise internal team events and external corporate functions.
- Data Management: Maintain up-to-date filing systems and company databases.
- General Support: Provide ad-hoc HR and administrative assistance as required.
Finance Support:
- Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and staff expense claims.
- Billing: Handle customer invoicing and ensure timely dispatch.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
- General Support: Assist the Finance Manager with daily financial administration and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
About You
- Work Rights: Must have full and unrestricted legal rights to work in Australia.
- "Can-do" Attitude: While previous experience is a plus, we value a proactive mindset and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Organisational Master: Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a professional environment.
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy, especially with numbers and data entry.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is highly regarded.
