About School Infrastructure | Asset Management Division
School Infrastructure (SI) is delivering the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW. Our mission is to ensure every school-aged child has access to high-quality education facilities at their local public school. This includes new buildings, major upgrades, and long-term maintenance strategies.
About the role
- Preparation of Trade Based Project Scopes for inclusion in tender documents for Maintenance & Construction Projects
- Prepare cost estimate for maintenance and capital construction projects
- Ensure compliance with environmental & Statutory Planning regulations
- Project Manage a portfolio of maintenance and capital projects
- Liaise with schools and invested stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

About you
- Demonstrated experience in Project management is essential
- Desirable experience in using AMU Streamlined Systems including IPS, PORTT, Eagle Eye, PMM/AMS, Planning Pathways, MW21, MMW, GC21, Small Works Agreement, Design Consultant Engagement
- Desirable understanding of the SI Procurement Guidelines, experience administering Mini Minor Works, MW21 Contracts, preparing NATSPEC Technical Specifications, and understanding for the requirements of EFSG, NCC, and BCA for School Facilities.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid NSW Driver's Licence
- Willingness and ability to travel across the assigned Asset Management (AMU) region of Mid-North Coast of NSW
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
