We are seeking a
Coatings & Insulation – I228 Team Lead
to join our Implementation team in Darwin, Northern Territory on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is based at the Ichthys LNG Onshore Processing Facility and operates on a Monday to Friday roster, with shift roster requirements during the dry season as required.
Key responsibilities:
Lead contractors delivering coatings, insulation, passive fire protection and i228 rectification activities, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution.
Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, risk management, contractor engagement and operational oversight.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and contractor teams to manage priorities, optimise performance and support delivery objectives.
Provide leadership and technical guidance across planning, quality assurance, resource management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Demonstrated experience leading operational, maintenance, construction, inspection or execution teams in a complex industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of coatings, insulation, passive fire protection, asset integrity or related disciplines, with the ability to support safe and efficient project delivery.
Proven leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and contractor workforces.
Strong communication, planning and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Relevant leadership, project management, inspection or integrity-related qualifications, certifications or equivalent practical experience.
Professional certifications or training in coatings, insulation, passive fire protection, quality assurance or related technical disciplines will be highly regarded.
A positive, collaborative and safety-focused mindset, with a demonstrated commitment to developing people and fostering high-performing teams.
A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport to the Ichthys LNG Onshore Processing Facility at Bladin Point.
This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Darwin.
