About Us: We are seeking dedicated support workers to assist participants in our group home/SIL located in Central Coast. We are committed to providing compassionate care and support to help our clients live independently and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care including showering, dressing, and grooming for participants.
- Maintain a clean and organized home environment through domestic assistance.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to participants' dietary needs.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication with participants' families and healthcare providers.
- Assist with medication management and provide timely prompts as required.
- Keep detailed and accurate progress notes to track participants' development and well-being.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance participants' quality of life.
- Assist participants with transfers, transportation, and community access activities.
- Organize engaging activities and support participants in pursuing their interests.
- Provide regular reports to the head office in Sydney and the house manager.
Requirements:
- Legal rights to work in Australia.
- experience in Aged Care or Disability sector (minimum 6 month)
- Certification in Manual Handling and Medication Administration.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Working with Children check.
- Current Police Check.
- Qualification in Disability or relevant field.
