If you're an Associate Family Lawyer looking to build your expertise within a leading specialist family law firm, this role has been designed with you in mind.
You've developed solid foundations in family law, gained experience managing matters and working closely with clients, and you're now looking for:
Exposure to more complex and rewarding matters
Mentorship from experienced family law practitioners
Greater responsibility and autonomy
A clear pathway for career progression
A firm where you can focus on practicing law, not everything around it
If that resonates, we'd like to speak with you.
About Unified Lawyers
Unified Lawyers is Australia's largest and fastest-growing specialist family law firm.
Family law is all we do.
Our lawyers regularly work on complex parenting disputes, high-net-worth property matters, family violence proceedings and matters involving international asset structures.
As we continue to expand nationally, we are looking to appoint an Associate to join our growing team.
Why Join Us?
Most family lawyers didn't enter the profession to spend their time generating work, chasing invoices or dealing with administrative burdens.
We've built a structure that allows our lawyers to focus on legal work while our support teams take care of the rest.
This includes:
A dedicated Client Care Team managing enquiries, consultations and client onboarding
Strong administrative and accounts support
A consistent pipeline of quality matters
No expectation to build your own practice from scratch
You'll spend your time doing what you're trained to do: practicing family law and developing your expertise.
A True Specialist Family Law Firm:
Unlike firms where family law sits within a broader practice, our entire business is built around it.
This means you'll benefit from:
Working alongside specialist family lawyers
Exposure to a broad range of family law matters
Systems and processes designed specifically for family law
Ongoing mentorship and technical development
Opportunities to learn from experienced Senior Associates, Special Counsel and Partners
Career Progression That Matches Your Goals
We recognise that every lawyer's career journey is different.
Whether your goal is to:
Build technical expertise in family law
Work towards managing your own complex caseload
Develop advocacy skills and courtroom experience
Progress to Senior Associate and beyond
Establish yourself as a recognised family law specialist
You'll be supported to build a career aligned with your ambitions.
Our continued growth is creating genuine progression opportunities for lawyers who want to take the next step.
