Grid-Link is a specialist engineering consultancy delivering end-to-end grid connection solutions for renewable energy projects. We support clients through the design, connection, commissioning and operation of generation assets across Australia's evolving energy market.
We are seeking a Senior Grid Connection Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering complex grid connection projects from feasibility through to commissioning and compliance.
Lead grid connection, planning and feasibility studies
Develop and review RMS and EMT models
Support connection applications, R1/R2 submissions and GPS negotiations
Lead compliance, testing and validation activities
Support commissioning of generation, transmission and distribution assets
Manage technical engagement with AEMO, NSPs and project stakeholders
Review technical studies, reports and project deliverables
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team
You will bring:
Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred)
Strong power system analysis and modelling experience
Proficiency with PSSE, PSCAD and Power Factory
Experience with RMS and EMT modelling
Solid understanding of generator connection processes, GPS and AEMO requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and lead technical project delivery
Work on some of Australia's most exciting renewable energy projects
Engage directly with industry leaders including AEMO and network providers
Enjoy exposure to advisory, engineering and commissioning services
Be part of a collaborative and highly technical team
Contribute to the transition to a more sustainable energy future
Based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, with occasional travel to client offices, project sites and industry events.
