Industrial Spray Painter
Sun Engineering is seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Spray Painter to join our team at our Carole Park facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter looking for stable, long-term work with a respected engineering company.
About the Role:
As an Industrial Spray Painter, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing high-quality industrial spray painting
- Completing surface preparation and sandblasting as required
- Applying 3-coat paint systems (primer, intermediate & top coat)
- Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and schedule requirements
- Carrying out basic QA checks and maintaining clean, organised work areas
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in industrial spray painting
- Competency with 3-coat painting systems
- Ability to check blast profiles
- Knowledge of monitoring environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.)
- Understanding of QA processes – including visual inspection and documentation
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
- Coating Inspection Ticket
- NACE Certification
- Forklift Licence
