The Opportunity
Ventia is managing the Western Roads Upgrade (WRU) project in Victoria, which is a 20-year contract that includes asset management, rehabilitation, and maintenance services for over 260 kilometres of urban road network in Melbourne's west.
We are currently hiring a Traffic Controller / Labourer to join our team based in Laverton, Victoria on a permanent full-time night shift roster, Monday to Thursday from 7:00pm to 5:00am.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Controlling traffic using a Stop/Slow bat.

Implementing Traffic Management Plans. (TMPs)

Liaising with clients on arrival to site to ensure requirements align with the Traffic Management Plan.

Document any site changes or required amendments to the Traffic Management Plan.

Record any aftercare signage and equipment required to remain on site following completion of works.

Ensure all equipment is reloaded onto the vehicle as per procedure and is positioned in a tidy and safe manner.

Assisting with road maintenance activities including asphalting, sign repairs, concreting, vegetation maintenance, pit repairs, emergency callouts, pavement cleaning, yard clean-up and general labouring duties.
About You

Current Traffic Control Ticket.

Construction Industry White Card.

Current TMA Ticket. (desirable)

Current HR Driver's Licence.

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
