Applications are sought from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Evaporator Operator located at Kalamia Mill, in the Burdekin Region. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season, including weekends, overtime and day work during the maintenance period.
As an Evaporator Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables you will be responsible for operating the Juice Circuit encompassing Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators, and associated equipment. This position works in conjunction with other members of the Shift Team to ensure efficient factory performance and reports to the Operations Superintendent.

- Evaporator Operator experience
- Working at heights
- Confined space
- Maintenance skills which are also highly desirable include; Trade qualifications, CUC Competencies, Dogger, Basic Rigger and Basic Scaffolder High Risk Work Licences.
