We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced mechanics, gain real-world workshop experience, and develop the skills you need for a successful career in the automotive industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Automotive Apprentice, you’ll get involved in a wide range of hands-on workshop activities, including:
- Servicing and maintaining light vehicles
- Assisting with vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Learning how to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Carrying out repairs under the guidance of qualified mechanics
- Helping with brakes, suspension, steering, engines and other vehicle systems
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
- Developing practical skills through on-the-job training
- Engine reconditioning
- Motorcycle scooter repairs
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be an experienced mechanic — we’re looking for the right attitude and willingness to learn.
You’ll ideally be:
- Genuinely interested in cars and automotive technology
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working with your hands
- A positive team player
- Safety-conscious and willing to follow instructions
- Committed to completing your apprenticeship
