About the Role
We are seeking warm, compassionate and faith-aligned Educational Support Officers (Teacher Aides) to join our Casual Relief Pool for an immediate start.
In this role, you will work alongside teachers to support students across a variety of learning contexts. No two days are the same, and your flexibility and heart for students will make a real impact.
You will:
- Support students in class (individuals and small groups).
- Assist with learning activities, resources and classroom preparation.
- Provide encouragement and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Supervise students during break times and activities as required.
About You
You are someone who:
- Has a genuine and active Christian faith, and a desire to be part of a Christ-centred learning community.
- Builds positive, caring relationships with students and staff.
- Is flexible, reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Holds (or is working towards) a Certificate or Diploma in Education Support (preferred).
Essential requirements:
- Pastoral reference (required) – please note this is an essential part of your application.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
Salary
Salary is aligned with the 2022 ACC Enterprise Agreement and will reflect your qualifications and experience.
