About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendants to join the team at Caves Coastal Bar & Bungalows.
Working as part of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of both our guest accommodation and public areas. From preparing rooms for arriving guests to ensuring shared spaces are clean, welcoming, and well presented, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This is a casual position offering shifts across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms and accommodation areas to the highest presentation standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including hallways, bathrooms, reception areas, and shared guest spaces
- Make beds, replenish amenities, and prepare rooms for arriving guests
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise guest rooms and public areas
- Remove rubbish, replenish linen, and safely handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly
- Follow hotel procedures, hygiene standards, and safe work practices
- Work collaboratively with the wider hotel team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
About You:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Physically capable of performing manual housekeeping duties throughout a shift
- Flexible availability across a rotating seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
