About the role
As Supply Base Coordinator, you will coordinate a multi-purpose team responsible for logistics, quarantine, cargo, materials and container management activities across the Northwest Supply Hub. You will work closely with the Supply Hub Supervisor, Materials Coordinator, Leading Hand, administration team and external service providers to ensure daily work is planned, prioritised and delivered safely. This role is suited to someone who enjoys leading teams, managing operational priorities, coordinating cargo and container movements, and keeping freight moving safely, efficiently and to standard.

Roster: 5 days on / 2 days off
Note: This role is suited to residents of Karratha and surrounds. FIFO applicants need not apply.
Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinate a team of Warehouse Officers to deliver safe, efficient and compliant logistics operations.
- Plan and oversee cargo, materials, container and yard movements across the Northwest Supply Hub.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound quarantine inspection and verification processes.
- Monitor traffic flow, third-party movements and compliance with the site Traffic Management Plan.
- Ensure load restraint, Chain of Responsibility and dangerous goods requirements are understood and applied.
- Partner with the Leading Hand to prioritise daily work, remove constraints and keep tasks on track.
- Work closely with the Materials Coordinator to align cargo movements, material availability and dispatch sequencing.
- Maintain documentation, registers, KPI reporting and audit-ready records.
- Support equipment readiness, defect reporting and safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Drive strong housekeeping, safety standards, continuous improvement and operational discipline across the team.
- Manage Quarantine compliance across the Supply Hub in line with Quarantine Management Plan.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, supply base, materials or transport coordination.
- Strong understanding of safe cargo movement, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence.
- Computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams, contractors and stakeholders.
- A proactive, practical and safety-first approach to problem solving.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Dangerous Goods awareness, Load Restraint training, Dogman ticket and quarantine or biosecurity experience will be highly regarded.
