We are seeking a motivated and hands-on woodworker to support our team in a dynamic workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in timber work and be confident using a range of tools and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in various workshop tasks including cutting, joining, assembling, and sanding timber components
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to build custom timber pieces
- Operate and maintain a range of tools and machinery including hand tools, power tools, woodworking machinery, and CNC equipment
- Support general workshop maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Experience with woodworking or similar trades eg. cabinet making
- Familiarity with tools, machinery, and safety procedures in a workshop environment
- Ability to read and follow technical plans and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction as part of a skilled team
