Happy Dough is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced café team members to join our growing team at Kawana Shopping World.
Happy Dough is a Gluten-Free and Vegan-Friendly food and beverage destination, providing allergy-inclusive treats to customers who often miss out. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our menu to include barista-made coffee, toasted bagels, bubble tea, milkshakes, matcha beverages, and our signature desserts.
We're seeking team members who thrive in a fast-paced café environment, enjoy creating great customer experiences, and take pride in producing high-quality food and drinks.

About the Role
This role involves a mix of customer service, coffee preparation, beverage creation, food preparation, and general store operations.
We are looking for individuals who can confidently work in a busy café environment while maintaining excellent customer service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality espresso-based coffees and other café beverages
- Making bubble teas, milkshakes, matcha lattes, and specialty drinks
- Preparing and serving toasted bagels, desserts, and other menu items
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Restocking products and maintaining store presentation
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere for customers and team members
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous café experience is essential
- Previous barista experience with the ability to produce quality coffee consistently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Availability
Successful candidates must have availability across a 7-day trading roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
We are currently seeking fulltime and casual team members for approximately 6 - 38 hours per week. For casual team members, there will be opportunities for additional hours and career growth as the business expands.
