In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering workplace health and safety investigations, incident analysis, safety governance, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety culture across Transport for NSW.
This role will see you lead investigations into workplace incidents, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, analyse contributing factors, develop recommendations, prepare formal reports, provide expert advice on investigation processes, and contribute to WHS strategies, policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety.
You will lead improved safety outcomes and investigation practices in a dynamic environment requiring compliance with WHS legislation, engagement with diverse stakeholders, and navigation of complex statutory requirements.

About you
Your incident investigation expertise, safety management knowledge, analytical capability, and strong stakeholder engagement skills formed across workplace health and safety, regulatory environments, and investigation-focused roles will see you excel in addressing investigation challenges, overcoming statutory compliance complexities, and bringing robust investigation methodologies to lead to safer workplaces, improved risk mitigation, and stronger WHS governance.
You’re recognized as an ethical, collaborative and highly skilled safety investigation professional, skilled at conducting thorough investigations, analysing root causes, preparing detailed reports, and advising on safety processes, experienced in leading WHS investigations, applying safety legislation and codes of practice, coordinating site investigations, and contributing to continuous improvement in WHS systems and culture.
